Conference Facilities

The Ardagh Suite has been greatly enhanced and enlarged to create a venue suitable for a conference in a theatre arrangement with a maximum capacity for 300 guests, or 400 guests for a reception.

The Warren Suite is a new meeting experience in the Celtic Ross Hotel. Set high above the water, the floor to ceiling windows give stunning views over Rosscarbery Bay and Galley Head. The room has been equipped with state-of-the-art audio / visual facilities to support any meeting requirement. This room is perfect for executive / boardroom meetings or small training workshops.

The Abbey Room & The Library are perfectly suited for smaller meetings and syndicate use.

On request we will supply overhead projector & screen, flipcharts, microphone / podium and conference pads. Complimentary wireless internet access is available in all meeting rooms and also now in all bedrooms. Civil Ceremony


The Celtic Ross Hotel is ideally situated to host your wedding ceremony: whether Civil Wedding, Civil Partnership, Humanist or Blessing. The Celtic Ross Hotel is an approved civil ceremony venue. It couldn't be simpler. Your ceremony can take place in the Tower Gallery or Warren Suite: both venues overlook the estuary. Then, as a newly married couple you can choose Warren Strand, our local sandy beach, as the backdrop for your wedding photographs. If you wish to celebrate your wedding with a traditional banquet followed by dancing, or with a low key and intimate celebratory meal, we have a range or venues to select from. It couldn't be more stress-free.

The Serenity Rooms at the Celtic Ross Hotel offer VOYA as their signature product. We can claim to be the only beauty and massage suite in the County of Cork to offer the heavenly range of VOYA treatments.

VOYA’s treatments are based on sustainably hand-harvested seaweed from Ireland’s pristine west coast, which are certified organic and wonderfully therapeutic. Treatments on offer range from VOYA facials, which are specifically designed to aid skin regeneration and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, to VOYA massages. Bars & Restaurants

Kingfisher Bar

The Kingfisher Bar owes its name to the spectacular Kingfisher bird often spotted in Rosscarbery Bay. The informal surroundings of the bar with its wood panelled interior provides a cosy and friendly atmosphere.

The adjoining conservatory lounge is the ideal location to meet and relax over morning scones and coffee while taking in the breathtaking Rosscarbery Bay views. Tea / Coffee with scones and pastries are available from early morning.

On fine days you can enjoy our extensive bar menu al fresco. Bar food is served from 12pm to 9.30pm daily and offers an extensive choice of meals and quick bites including the Chefs Daily Specials.

All sporting events are shown in HD on our massive 8ft screen! GAA, Irish, English, Scottish and European soccer leagues, Rugby, Tennis and Golf are shown on a daily basis.

We have live music on a regular basis in the Bar.

Carvery lunch is served each Sunday from 12pm – 3pm.

The Kingfisher Bistro 

For more formal dining, The Kingfisher Bistro offers a tantalising experience. Breakfast is served each morning from 8.00am – 10.30am and dinner from 6.30pm – 9.00pm. Sunday Lunch Menu is served 12pm - 3pm. Our chefs use only the freshest local produce specialising in fish, seafood and meat dishes. Superb table d’hôte menus are complimented by our selection of fine wines from around the world.

Private dining is available in the Warren Suite to celebrate your special family occasion.

 

Family

At the Celtic Ross Hotel we welcome families and our young guests. We have children’s menus available and many different room options. We have Standard rooms, large family rooms and interconnecting rooms available making us the perfect choice for your family holiday. Travel cots and extra beds are available on request when booking.

Kids club and hotel family facilities

The Cool Roo kids club runs daily during the school holidays. It is free of charge for residents. Our leisure centre includes a 15mr pool, children’s pool and bubble pool. 

All guests receive 10% discount at Smugglers Cove Adventure Golf in Rosscarbery.

Family activities

Activities for families include building sand castles on the blue flag Warren Beach, hire pedal boats on Rosscarbery Lagoon, try your hand at our not so easy Rosscarbery pitch and putt course and play a round of adventure golf at the new Smugglers Cove! There is also the playground and tennis courts in the Village. Rosscarbery Family Festival takes place year from about the 9th – 18th August.
