Our recently refurbished White Flag award winning leisure centre located adjacent to the hotel with direct access from all bedroom floors offers the very best of leisure facilities to our guests.

Signal Bar

Located in the centre of the Clifden Station House Courtyard is the restored original Station Masters House and Train Platform. This atmospheric building with much of the original railway memorabilia, is now a lively bar serving food all day.
Live entertainment is provided year round, and an extended entertainment programme runs on selected evenings during the summer months.

The Signal Bar is also the perfect spot to catch all of the biggest live sports events, so if it's the Ryder Cup, Heineken Cup, Magners League or the Barclay's Premiership, why not join us in the Signal and enjoy the big game with a pint of our finest!

Our award winning Chef, G Nazri, has created a very unique menu available from 12noon to 9pm daily, with a mix of traditional bar favourites like our famous fresh fish & chips and a great daily specials list, the Signal Bar will become a regular stop during your stay at this hotel in Connemara.

Library Bar

Set off the lobby area of the hotel, this relaxing and contemporary designed bar, serves an extensive wine and drinks list to be enjoyed in the evenings. The Library Bar provides a cosy atmosphere that allows the conversation and a sense of ease to just flow through the room.

Our Railways Children’s Club operates during all School Midterm Breaks and July & August.

Family Activities

When the weather is dry, you can always venture to the Playground in Clifden Town located on the Beach Road by SuperValu. A new addition to the Playground is a purpose built Football/Basketball fenced area so the older kids can practice their dribbling skills!

There are also great playgrounds in Roundstone Village, beside the Tennis Courts and Connemara National Park (Letterfrack) where you could be sharing the playground with the resident wildlife.
