Signal Bar

Located in the centre of the Clifden Station House Courtyard is the restored original Station Masters House and Train Platform. This atmospheric building with much of the original railway memorabilia, is now a lively bar serving food all day.
Live entertainment is provided year round, and an extended entertainment programme runs on selected evenings during the summer months.

The Signal Bar is also the perfect spot to catch all of the biggest live sports events, so if it's the Ryder Cup, Heineken Cup, Magners League or the Barclay's Premiership, why not join us in the Signal and enjoy the big game with a pint of our finest!

Our award winning Chef, G Nazri, has created a very unique menu available from 12noon to 9pm daily, with a mix of traditional bar favourites like our famous fresh fish & chips and a great daily specials list, the Signal Bar will become a regular stop during your stay at this hotel in Connemara.

Library Bar

Set off the lobby area of the hotel, this relaxing and contemporary designed bar, serves an extensive wine and drinks list to be enjoyed in the evenings. The Library Bar provides a cosy atmosphere that allows the conversation and a sense of ease to just flow through the room.

As it’s name suggests, this is the perfect spot to find a quiet corner, and get stuck into a good book, and with a wide variety of books available throughout the building, there is something to suit all of our guests, even the little ones!

The Library Bar also offers the perfect venue for your pre or post dinner drinks, or indeed a perfect spot to meet your party before attending an event in our ballroom.

Station House Restaurant

The Station House restaurant at the Clifden Station House hotel is a must during your visit to Clifden. Our award winning Chef, G Nazri, has combined the very best of local produce from both the land and sea, creating unique menus that will make your visit to our restaurant, one to remember.

Breakfast: served daily 7.30am to 10.30am in the main dining room is sure to get your day off to the very best of starts, with a fantastic choice from our buffet table, including pastries, fresh fruit salad, and much more, as well as our famous Irish breakfast, or indeed why not try our pancakes made right in front of you!

Dinner: served daily from 6.30pm with last sittings at 9pm, the staff look forward to welcoming you, and helping to make your dining experience very special. Why not treat yourself to a bottle of fine wine from our extensive menu, and be sure to ask for the specials!
