· Midleton Farmers Market (5 mins) – Takes place every Saturday from 10.30am to 1pm, it is an important part of this bustling market town
· Queenstown Heritage Centre (30 mins) – Tells the story of millions of Irish who emigrated to the USA from Cobh
· Ballyannan Woodland Walk (5 mins) – Mature mixed woodland located on the Owenacurra Estuary dating back to the mid 17th century
· Barryscourt Castle (15 mins) – OPW castle which hosts an exhibition on The Arts in Ireland and houses reproduction furniture and utensils. The gardens feature an orchard and a 16th century walled herb garden.
