The Health & Fitness Club at Actons of Kinsale has been recently refurbished offering a space in which to simply spend time feeling better. Set out comfortably over two floors, the health & fitness club offers a genuinely friendly service with your needs at the centre of its operations.
Get moving more actively on our broad range of internet enhanced gym equipment or be invigorated in our Aerobics Studio.
For a more relaxed mood, take time out in our 15m deck level pool, Sauna, Jacuzzi, Steam Room, and watch your cares float away.

The Health & Fitness Club is open to Club Members & Hotel Residents Monday – Friday 6.30 am to 9.00pm and Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holiday Mondays 8.00am to 8.00pm. Children are welcome to use the pool until 7pm daily.

15 meter heated deck level pool
Our leisure pool has an all-round depth of 1.2m. Various back and neck massage points are located around its perimeter, where water jets out under pressure to massage your back and neck muscles. Located separately is a toddler’s pool complete with water jets for their entertainment. Children are welcome to use the pool until 7pm daily.

Sauna & Steam Rooms
A large sauna made from traditional wood is available along with a hot steam room, which is complete with fiber optic lighting and solid marble benches setting the scene and atmosphere for complete stress relief.

Whirlpool Spa
On the deck is a large whirlpool spa which seats 10 and has the added features of air blowers and water jets for your comfort.

Technogym Gymnasium
Located on the first floor our gymnasium is fully equipped with the latest in Technogym Viso Web equipment including cardiovascular and strength training equipment. Assistance and advice is available from our highly trained, professional staff who are there to help you get the most from your work out.
Fitness Studio
Located next to the gymnasium is our exercise class studio. With a sprung maple floor and its own sound system it is the ideal environment to make the most from our exciting range of classes.

Kinsale has been hailed as the Gourmet Capital of Ireland and is a haven for food lovers. Situated in West Cork which is an area renowned for its artisan producers, quality foods and ingredients, at Actons of Kinsale we are extremely lucky to have such a selection at our disposal.
John O’Connell our Head Chef, sources the best of local and organic produce for all his menus. From our healthy & hearty breakfasts in the Fisher St Restaurant, to casual all day dining in Sidney’s Bar & Brassiere and a la carte dining in the Fisher St Restaurant which opens at weekends.

At Actons of Kinsale breakfast is a delightful pleasure; where you can choose from an array of dishes on our cold buffet from cold cut meats, Local Irish Cheese, yoghurts, breakfast pastries, Muesli and Fruits.
